Ignacio de Andrés García
Founder of the Firm, is responsible for the Commercial Law and the Litigation department.
Law Degree from the University of the Basque Country. Lawyer.
In 1981 he joined Arthur Andersen, where he specialized in Taxation of Entities and Financial Operations. In 1982 he completed a Master’s Degree in Tax Law, participating as of this date in various courses and seminars.
In 1984 he took over the Tax Advisory Office of the Citicorp Group in Spain and in 1985 he joined the Legal Department of Peat Marwick, Mitchel & Co., now KPMG, where he continued his specialization in the financial sector and extended his professional practice to the commercial sphere.
Appointed as partner of KPMG, Peat Marwick on July 1, 1989, he left this company in March 1991 to found his own law firm, under the name DE ANDRÉS Y ARTÍÑANO, with a broader professional practice, including arbitration and litigation in the mercantile areas.
Member of the Madrid Bar Association.
